A Lutheran Rosary

Pastor Doug recently gave me an article on a Lutheran Rosary. As you may know, a rosary is a set of Roman Catholic prayer beads made to keep track of one's prayers. Some Protestants do not use the rosary because of the association of praying to the Virgin Mary rather than to Jesus.
The Catholic Dominican Fathers sponsor a website with much background information on saying the rosary. Catholic Kids has a website that describes how to do a rosary. There are also several online guides that walk one through the rosary.
The Miami Herald has an interesting article on prayer beads as well as a slide show of the prayer beads of different faiths.
There is a also Christian Rosary which focuses on Gospel Stories.
On March 6, 2005, Alleluia!'s Sunday's COOL group made and prayed an Episcopal Rosary which has 33 beads, representative of Jesus' 33 years of life. This site also has many different prayers you can use with the Episcopal Rosary.
